Graphics Server Licensing FAQ

Can I buy one copy of Graphics Server for my developer team?
No. Graphics Server is licensed on a per developer basis. Each and every
developer who calls any Graphics Server function or component from any
development environment must have a developer's license. Multiple unit pricing
is available.

Do I have to pay royalties on applications that incorporate Graphics Server?
No. Graphics Server Technologies does not require distribution licenses or
royalty fees.

Are there different editions of Graphics Server 6.1 and Graphics Server .NET?
No. Graphics Server software has one edition of Graphics Server 6.1 and
Graphics Server .NET in which both Web applications and Windows applications
are supported.

Do I need Internet Server Licenses for my organization?
No. Graphics Server Technologies does not require you to license your servers.
The only licensing requirement is that each developer who calls and Graphics
Server function from any development environment must have a licensed copy.

Why don't I need Distribution or Internet Server Licenses?
Graphics Server Technologies has taken a simple and cost effective approach to
licensing requirements in order to make Graphics Server software more
accessible and inexpensive.

Are there any restrictions on distributing Graphics Server?
Yes, you may not use Graphics Server in any implementation that:

includes the source code that makes calls to Graphics Server

includes Graphics Server as a library or part of a library

functions as a substitute for the Graphics Server
